Adionim has developed an advanced unique proves for Chromium-Nickel coating on ABS plastic. The quality and beauty of this process was proven in tests that were carried for the American market according to the severe required standards.

ABS coating is traditionally done by electrolytic process. This process is very bad to environment and to people. Process is done in a line of tanks that contain Hexavalent Chromium, which is a causing cancer (carcinogenic) material and forbidden for use in USA and Europe, acids, cyanides and heavy metals, which are harmful to underground water and poison the food chain.

Adionim developed a process, based on ion technology, of plating Nickel-Chromium plating on ABS. The system is completely “green”, contains no liquid solutions, nor Hexavalent Chromium and do not require waste removal system. Plating system is also capable of plating other coating types.

This system will enable ABS coating companies (e.g. shower and bath accessories, automotive parts etc.) to avoid using electrolytic chromium plating and to extend their collection with a variety of finishes that do not exist today in the market, with no compromising of quality.
